Vitaemo! Welcome!
My name is DonnaMarie and I will be teaching Ukrainian Dance this year. I'll be doing this with the help of three assistant instructors (Joe, Meagan and Davis). This is a quick note to confirm class times.
Saturday Youth classes
10:00 - 10:45 Novice Group (born in 2004 - 2005)
10:55 - 11:40 Beginner Group (born in 2002 - 2003)
11:50 - 12:50 Junior Group (born in 2000 - 2001)
1:00 - 2:30 Intermediate and Senior Group (born in 1997 - 1999)
Tuesday and Thursday Teen/Adult Group
As mentioned at last night's class we will all practice together two nights a week for the month of September. In October we will split the teens and the adults so we can concentrate dances specific to each group.
*Please send your dancer to class with a bottle of water.
*This year's registration fee includes a stainless steel water bottle as well as dance club t-shirt, however we don't have them yet. They will be handed out to each dancer when they arrive. We will also have tote bags for purchase ($10).

Registration Nights For Dance Classes
Registration for all dancers will be held on September 3, 2009 at 7:00 to 9:00 pm at the Performer's Studio, 13 Coronation Drive unit # 4
Class times will remain the same as last year. The youth dancers (4-12) will practice on Saturday mornings. Once we have a good idea of how many dancers we have, we'll split this age group up. The teen/adult (13+) group will practice on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 7-9pm.
Classes will start September 8 (teens/adults) and September 12 (youth) and will wind up the last week of March. Concert this year is March 27-28, 2010. Registration cost is $275 per dancer and $125 for each additional family member.

Aurora Ukrainian Dancers
The Aurora Ukrainian Dancers are now entering their 29th year of dance. The Aurora Ukrainian Dancers are a dance troop located in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories.
We bring to the stage a wonderful blend of different Ukrainian folk dances from the various regions of the Ukraine.
Ukrainian folk dance is not only entertainment but it also represents the life styles, customs and history of the Ukrainian people.
Dance Classes
The dance studio is located at 13 Coronation Drive, in Yellowknife
Our Classes are as follows:
13yr olds to Adults classes are Tuesday & Thursday nights 6:30 - 8:30pm
Youth Classes
Ages 5 to 7 classes are 10:00 - 10:45am
Ages 8 - 9 classes are 10:45 - 11:45am
Ages 10 - 12 classes are 11:45 - 1:00pm
